I had a dream I awoken from this morning in which I was teaching about journaling to a class. I was making the point that journaling (which no one was doing) was critical to the education pedagogy working: processing, in an interactive way, the learning one is engaged in with a learning contract.
In my dream some parents were also present. I said that for education to be mentored, the learning process had to be open and engaged with. Openness allows for the involvement of other: parents; mentors, friends, fellow learners. I assigned the task of journaling about the conversation about journaling.
As I was coming out of the dream I realized that each journal entry could be self-assigned the three top intelligences that the subject of the journal relates to. These, in turn, could be markers to sort them by, but also the means by which the STAR focus on integrated multiple intelligences could be reinforced and learned.
